Countryside Arena
The countryside arena is a great way to discover more about some of the skills and activities that form part of every day life in the country. Demonstrations take place between 10am – 4.30pm each day, and include:
- Fly Casting: the finer points of casting is revealed by Ian Moutter and Gary Scott
- Gun Dog Display: Gun dogs, including Labradors and Spaniels, show-off their skills under the watchful eye of Annette Usher and Joe McLure
- Sheep Dogs Display: The Quack Commandos sheep dogs demonstrate speed and skills to round up a flock of ducks.
- Falconry: Galloway Falconry provide interactive display featuring featuring buzzards, hawks and owls
- Terrier Racing: Bring your own dogs to participate in this popular demo by Fife and Kinross Working Terrier Club
- Ferrets
