School Trips to the Show
The Royal Highland Show is one of the highlights of the School’s calendar. RHET organise schools visits and provide a comprehensive education programme over the four day event.
The main attraction is the RHET Children's Discovery Centre, based on the Showground. The centre is open to anyone and everyone and offers a range of fun, interactive and hands-on activities for children of all ages.
The RHET Children’s Discovery Centre is open to school parties on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th June. The education programme is available to formal school groups only, and offers:
- Bookable activities
- Interactive learning
- Entertaining educational demonstrations
- Guided tours
- Curriculum-linked downloadable education packs
On arrival at the show, school groups are greeted by one of RHET's volunteers, who will give guided tours of the Showground and accompany your group to the Discovery Centre for your chosen activities.
