Visitors to the Royal Highland Show will be able to learn more about and see for themselves the rephotography initiative launched in the popular television series Landward,by visiting the BBC Scotland tent across the weekend.

Renowned landscape photographer Colin Prior is featured in the latest Landward series advising viewers on how they can contribute to the special rephotography project which is about charting the changes in Scotland’s landscape over the years.  Colin has also been offering tips on how to retake photographs from Scotland’s rich archive of shots, and these photographs will be on display at the BBC Scotland tent at the Royal Highland Show.  BBC Scotland’s online team will be there to guide people through the accompanying website and demonstrate how they can contribute by uploading their photos to the site throughout the campaign.

The Landward/Rephotography initiative is part of a larger BBC Scotland package of television and radio programmes, coming later in the year, which will take a fresh look at Scotland’s landscapes and man’s shaping of them.
