RHASS are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Majesty has been the Patron of our Society for 70 years, unceasingly championing Scottish Culture and rural life throughout her lifetime.
Her dedication to many aspects of rural Scotland from equestrianism to agriculture and livestock has been invaluable to the Society and communities across Scotland, the UK and the Commonwealth.
Our deepest sympathies go to the Royal Family at this time in their personal loss, whilst the Society, country and Commonwealth mourn the passing of such an admirable and enduring figurehead.
