Here at RHET we rely heavily on our volunteer farm hosts and classroom speakers to help us deliver our programme into schools. From taking a class of school children out on a farm visit, to working through the contents of our Dairy Box resource, they are the life and blood of our organisation, without whom, we simply wouldn’t be RHET.

If you’d like to be a volunteer for your local area, please visit https://www.rhet.org.uk/contact-us/. Your commitment may be as little as an hour a year, by heading into the classroom to speak to the pupils using our prepared powerpoints, your own Speaker Kit box or just you! Or if you’re more technical, then being on the other end of a Teams call to the class. Or take the children to you for a slightly longer farm visit – don’t worry, we cover all the health and safety requirements. We also need you for a few other events we get involved in so let us talk to you and see where you can help.

Take a look at our different RHET school areas and what our volunteers get up to and why they think volunteering for RHET is such a good idea.
