Travel to the RHS by Train

Trains from West Lothian, Central Region, Glasgow (Queen St Lower) and the West, then short bus journey.  

Edinburgh Park Station has many Scotrail services calling, from Glasgow Central and Queens St Lower, from Helensburgh, Stirling, Falkirk, Airdrie, Coatbridge etc. Exit at the north side of Edinburgh Park station and take the Lothian Buses Nos 63 (bound for Queensferry) or 20 (bound for Ratho), advise the driver you wish to alight at the Royal Highland Centre and walk to the Show's South Gate Entrance.

Edinburgh Haymarket Station is one of the stops on the dedicated Royal Highland Show bus service (stop HH) immediately outside the station. If however, you arrive at Edinburgh Waverley Station you must make your way to George Street east end by The Dome, to catch the 98 bus to the Royal Highland Centre

ScotRail will provide train links from locations across Scotland to Edinburgh railway stations, conveniently linked to the Royal Highland Show by dedicated bus services, as shown below:

Edinburgh Waverley Station: Lothian Buses service 98 runs from George Street East End (5 minute walk from the station) to the Show.

Haymarket Station: linked to the Show by Lothian Buses service 98 from outside the station (stop HH).

Edinburgh Park Station: service 97 operated by Lothian Buses provides connections to the Show. A bus stop is located on the North side of the station.

Edinburgh Gateway Station: also served by Lothian Buses service 97 from the station concourse.
