We launched our brand new shiny Trade awards at the 2024 Royal Highland Show, celebrating excellence across the 900 trade stands at the Show with winners chosen carefully by judges, who recognised the creativity and innovation of the exhibitors across every area.
All areas followed the marking criteria below:
- Public Engagement
- Appearance (investment in Stand)
- Educational
- Quality of products and/or services
- Innovation
Scotland’s Larder and Home & Gift, 13th Ave and Craft criteria included:
1-quality & provenance
2-customer engagement
3- stand dressing
'Most of the stands have a full Summer of shows and festivals and they put a lot of work in to ensure customers see the highest quality products, and are provided with the information and facts related to their area of knowledge.', Scott Taylor of Hoggs of Fife stated as he took part in the judging.
Speaking about what she was looking for when judging, Leslie Davidson said 'I was looking for well laid out stands...little things like features and flowers to balance the stand.'
