The Royal Highland Show is the flagship event of Scottish charity the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland, founded in 1784. The 4-day event is the pinnacle of the agricultural calendar involving over 1,000 trade exhibitors, 2,150 livestock competitors (with over 6,500 animals) and has an annual economic impact estimated at over £65 million.
The Royal Highland Show is a showcase for the finest displays of Scotland's livestock, machinery, produce and rural life.
Over the four days in June, the Royal Highland Show plays host to over 900 competitions, and offers a range of displays and exhibitions to enjoy, including world-class equine displays, countryside pursuits and educational workshops.
