Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 15 December for the second year of the Royal Highland Hoolie, two country music events taking place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June 2024.

Presented with legendary promoters Farmers Bash, the concerts will be bigger and better than ever bringing the best of Scotland and Ireland’s homegrown talent to the Royal Highland Centre.

Friday night's headliner, from the Highlands of Scotland, four-piece folk-pop band Tide Lines will be joined by an array of folk and country artists to kick off the concerts.

Saturday night Derek Ryan returns to headline, accompanied by more of Scotland and Ireland’s liveliest musicians promising another night of fantastic country craic.

More acts will be announced in the new year.

Various ticket types are available, including two combined Royal Highland Show and Royal Highland Hoolie tickets which allow people to enjoy both events at a discounted rate with a limited number of Hoolie-only tickets.  Ticket prices start at £35.00 and are available to buy from the Royal Highland Show website www.royalhighlandshow.org

Jim Warnock, Chairman of Royal Highland Show organisers, the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS), commented:

“Following the success of the 2023 Hoolie presented with Farmers Bash, we’re looking forward to bringing back the best of Scottish and Irish Country and Folk music to our Show audience, giving the option to extend Show goers experience into the evening.

“These concerts promise to be a fantastic night of summer entertainment, a perfect way to end what will already be a spectacular day.”

Farmers Bash organiser, Nigel Campbell, added:

“We are very much looking forward to returning to the Royal Highland Centre with the Royal Highland Hoolie, a fantastic night of live music that is very popular amongst rural communities.”
